„Lili” is a cross between musical and psychological drama. Lili Madecka is a pre-second-world-war star, whose story combines biographies of few well known singers and actresses of the time. Her story is also a pretext to explore the world of the boheme of those times and tell a story of genesis of the most popular songs from the ’30s and 40s of the 20^th century.

Lili tends to keep her growing fame in spite of the circumstances. She does not want to sacrifice her status, her talent nor the best years of her life for any cause. She wants and needs to be a star against all odds.
